ROASTED CAULIFLOWER SALAD

Salads aren't just for the enthusiastic brave months, but when I get my stemlike cravings in the winter I exchange up my salads with heartier vegetables and ingredients that get enthusiastic, blackened flavors, like roasted vegetables and preserved paprika. This Roasted Crucifer Salad is actually a frolic on one of my separate choice salads, Sea Farro Salad.

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne $0.03
  • 1/4 tsp salt $0.02

SPICED CHICKPEaS

  • 15 oz can chickpeas $0.79
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil $0.16
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika $0.05
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder $0.03
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne $0.02
  • Salt and Pepper to taste $0.05

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Hack the cauliflower into petite florets and space them on a gargantuan baking artifact. Portion the red onion into 1/4-inch strips and place them on the hot lamination.
